My IT team is small and new to Scrum. We currently work in 1 week sprints but have deployments every 2 weeks. Working in 1 week sprints causes a lot of work to roll over from sprint to sprint. The hesitation to move to a 2 week sprint is that we get a lot of ad hoc requests aside from project tasks and we are not sure how to address them if we move to a 2 week sprint. Currently, everything is being tracked in Jira. I'm just curious as to what others think about this if anyone has experienced something similar and should we work in 2 week sprints per Scrum?
