Why did Scrum.org redefine SLA to SLE if the whole IT market already understands this concept as SLA (and not SLE)?

Everyone knows that Kanban Guide comes with the SLE (Service Level Expectation) concept.

At first glance, I thought it too similar to Service Level Agreements (SLA) that is widely adopted by the ITIL library.

Once both SLE and SLA are concepts that greatly resembles each other, why adopt SLE instead of SLA in the Guide?

Why am I asking this?
