this week, we had to cancel a userstory within our sprint, because it turned out, we have to change the bearing for fulfilling a defined goal.
Anyway: When we closed the story in JIRA (resolution: obsolete), I realized we earned the storypoints for this US. I deliberated about whether it's a bug or it is correct. If our team cannot finish a story (and therefore it has nothing to do reaching one or multiple sprint goals), is it correct to earn these storypoints? At the end it increases our velocity and falsifies our metrics, in my opinion.
