I am very grateful to this community which helped me to understand many questions, I purely did a self study almost with lot of discontinuity.
The resources in this thread helped a lot. Another thing I did was just browsed through the entire forum archives for questions that previous users have asked. This also helped me a lot!

My Learning and Experience Suggestions:
1. Know the Official Scrum Guide in and out. Study it as many times as possible.
2. On Scrum.org, take Scrum Open assessments, until you consistently hit 100%.
3. I took practice exam from http://www.agileprojectmanagementtraining.com/agile-exam-resources/
which helped me to be in rhythm and be more confident.
4. Actual job experience is also matters.
I felt I was thoroughly prepared after doing the things I listed above, and I passed my first time.
