For background, this is scrum team still finding it's cadence. We are currently discussing and prioritising items to bring into sprint as part of the backlog refinement sessions. However we havent cracked our velocity yet, so a good number of stories are rolling into the next sprint on a regular basis. Meaning we spend a large chunk of sprint planning reprioritising what we had planned to bring it, plus the new stories carried over.
Is there a better way to do this, or just that we need to work on our capacity to ensure we are completing the stories we bring in?
