Hello,
I took the Open Assessment and did not fully understand why an team member cannot "own" an Sprint Backlog Item. I mean, if I have a Sprint Backlog with 30 items in a Excel/web application, shouldn't the team member "check" the item as "Work In Progress by XYZ"?
Thanks in advance for your input.
Kind regards
=== Open Assessment question text and possible answers
Development Team members volunteer to own a Sprint Backlog item:
Never. All Sprint Backlog Items are "owned" by the entire Development Team, even though each one may be done by an individual development team member.
Whenever a team member can accommodate more work.
During the Daily Scrum.
At the Sprint planning meeting.
