Splitting the stories and points treatment to the overall velocity % during sprint planning

Hi all,

My team has loaded sprint1 with 100% for example and has 2 stories incomplete.

First story is a 5 pointer and has 2 defects associated which is dependent on third party teams and not the scrum team. There is not much of a hold here and they prioritize/fix at their convenience. Hence it is a spillover
