PSM I Question -

Hi,

I had a question in my PSM I test which asked about the hours the development team should work everyday. Unfortunately, I do not remember the exact options it gave me to select ...

1) Ideal hours
2) enough to meet their commitments
3) 7-8 hours a day

In my opinion, all three answers could make sense...I chose the last answer because it is consistent and Scrum teams need to be consistent to be productive, but looking back and thinking about the other answers, they all make sense too..

The first answer makes sense because the Scrum team decides for himself how to organise their work and they should work what their ideal hours should be. If they want to work 15hours one day and next day they work just 3hours, nobody is in charge to tell them not to do it...

The second answer can also be correct...if they meet their commitments of the Sprint Backlog they committed to in the beginning of the sprint, it would be a feasible option as well.

So, what's the correct answer for this question?
Looking forward to hear your opinions about this one...

Thanks,
