Is Scrumban the same as Scrum with Kanban? - In my opinion, it is not. It appears to me that Scrumban is a modification of Scrum with the pretext of the benefits of kanban (i.e. continuous flow) requires the roles, but not a Sprint (i.e. timebox/iteration). Why not just call it kanban then? You can place kanban over whatever is your existing process, or add/remove events or roles as you like.
