We have all seen the assessment question that Scrum can be applied to "almost any kind of complex application where the requirements are not well defined" - Government, Military, Manufacturing, Service, Education, etc. Coming from a non software business (Energy) and seeing the increased desire to be agile outside tech (ok, most companies are actually about harnessing tech) I appreciate the software neutral language used in the Scrum Guide and the general tone of most questions in the assessments. However one cannot escape the default terms and references to software development.
